  1. The pads still have about 5 - 7 mm, maybe some brake fluid got on them but I washed the disk with water and contact cleaner well. My brother told me that it used to do the same when he used to compete with it, maybe the brake pads are burnt or bad quality or something? Personaly I never changed the pads, front disk is new. today ill try touching them with a sandpaper and see what happens as I cant find any in my country, will have to wait so I can order from uk because of christmas gifts... Thanks james
  2. I have a jt 1994 gasgas and a jtr 1996 gasgas and both of them rub the exhaust :S now I bent abit the exhaust bracket abit out and its not bad now.
  3. Hey, Im posting after a day bleeding the front and rear brakes of my jt 1994 gasgas. After alot of trial and error I managed to bleed them, my problem is that the brakes work good only when wet. I mean if I go now and try out the brakes they wont hold well and i throw some water on them and work 100% ok (with only onw finger on the front brake its easy to pull uu a stoppie) but after some time when the dry the brakes wont hold anymore. Tried cleaning the disks with contact cleaner but no improvement. any idea what may be the problem? Thanks James
  4. Hey all, I'm 17 and own a 1994 GasGas trial, started riding motorcycles about 5 years ago and started practicing trials about a year ago. my brother used to be one of the best from the locals until the club closed down as there was no interest in trials here in malta. I am still a beginner trying to learn the hard way beacuse my brother doesn't have time to ride or teach anymore so its up to me to learn on my own. the toughts are that in a year time I will buy a more decent / modern trial bike which I'm not sure which one.Thats all I can say about me. Thanks for welcoming me here
