  1. Other than making sure everything is in good working order; Use the Marzocchi 35mm yokes with your Betor forks, this is what the works riders used to do back in the day. It tightens up the fork angle and handlebar mounts much better position. Lose some weight, axles and swinging arm spindle can all be aluminium alloy, rear silencer and front pipe ! Electronic ignition with advance along with a lighter flywheel will pep things up. Fantic 300 front brake plate. Lowering footrests and moving back is essential. Speak to Martin Matthews.

  4. 2008 Scott Trial- Takahisa Fujinami 4th (Winner Ian Austermuhle) 2010 Scottish 6 Day- Albert Cabestany 9th (Winner Alex Wigg) Proof (If needed) that current world trials are going in the wrong direction. OK Dougie would have won this years Scottish but you get my point. The above results are far more interesting than the current world trial results, and I bet the events are too. How about this for a world trial "Template" - 50 Sections - 50 Miles - 1 Lap - 4 Petrol Stops - 10 Miles / 10 Sections Between Stops - 5 Time Check's (4 Petrol Stops and the End) - No Minders - No Intercoms - No Outside Assistance, major parts of the bike marked OK I know Adam & Tony etc. will have their minders entered with them but a TRUE BALLOT and 5 time checks will make it difficult for them. OH, and sections to suit. Entries would surely rocket!!!!!!!!!
