  1. Never heard of any Trials there in Macau....pretty certain there's none. The only Trials related event happening there I know of was a demo ride many years back at the Macau GP....heard it was by Dougie...that was what I was told but never saw it so could have been someone else. We have a Club here in HK, drop us a mail if you need to know anything about us. Cheers Mic
  2. ....yup I thought it was superb, created a hugh interest in Trials down here, met spectators at the Aussie Titles who never seen it before...they were amazed ! Hats off to all !! Mic

  5. Just rode the Aussie Titles on the weekend, my first....brillant Trial event, hats off & many thanks to the organisers and all the observers, helpers & section makers who put together a great course. The event had the added bonus of a number of international star riders who put on a thrilling display....was a real treat. A special thanks to a buddy down under who loan me his bike & bed and made it all happen....cheers mate
  6. Well, last Sunday (18th) marked TC's every chatty Stu's last ride here in HK.....for now any way...until he comes back for a visit. We through a bash for him in the best way we know, held a competion followed up by a BBQ. Had some great prizes for the top 3 places which were so kindly sponsored by r2wtrials & Bubble Productions. It was an open class event & Stu got a well deserved 3rd place, in extremly difficult muddy conditions .....perfect practice before he starts riding back home.....(hope its ok to mention) there's a full report with pics on r2wtrials site. Stu's going to be dearly missed by all here , he's done alot for Trials in HK with his overwhelming enthusiasum and helpfullness, he's been a fun riding partner and is propaly one of the friendlness person's I've met ......has been a great poster on this forum letting all know whats going on over here ..... well what more can I say.....alot.....well, from all at the HK Trials Club we do wish you and family the happiest of futures.......and of course some great riding back home.... cheers mate.....and we're looking forward to come and visit ya !!

  11. Wow... great to see so much intersest still going on about China....bit off of a late response to all the gossip...have to excuse me...got no connection at home ...in fact no phone line what-so-ever..... pretty primitively....spend all my $$ on spares for the bike..... Yes David thats the event those links are showing, alot on our guys from HK....some great pics....hope all enjoy them. Hi Worldtrialchamp, great to hear another rider in this neck of the woods...well almost. Actualy theres not alot of riders in China.....the guys we know and I'm pretty sure they are the only ones ...have a team of about 8 riders....thay took part in this event. mainly they do shows around cities in China...anyway will drop you an email. Hope they do start making trials bikes there, yes they just need the know-how, thought about doing it myself but need $$, will be intersting to see whats coming up as r2w...mentioned....looking forward to see....Mic
  12. Hi fellows, Michael here from ther HK Trials Club. Nice to see a disscusion going on the about Trials in China, after r2wtrilas kindly posted our story on it. To the Chinsese its a prety new sport, MX has been going on for a while there now, they even have full time works riders, so we're hoping Trials can develope along the same line, our club here in HK is doing what we can to see this, with participating in events and helping with organisation. The first ever competion in China took place back in 2001, which was at the same place as shown on r2wtrials site.......as you can see perfectly suited for us riders. There was a FIM & UAM supported event last year which was held up near Tibet, some 3.5K meters in the sky, this was their first major international event. They have the interest in the sport, but often politics does seem to play a big role in the events at the moment....though I guess thats China, like Stu mentioned they do need help in how to run it like a proper tria event.....but they are learning and the riders are coming along fast. Will be great if they start making the bikes, did speak to a company before about it they were interested, if some are in fact going ahead thats great news,......their enduro bikes are pretty good now and getting better all the time....so I'm sure they could come out with a good basic trials bike at this time....and sure to be inexpensive. Will stop blabbing on....hope its of some interest.....Michael
  13. ....thought about time did some typing, think I put myself in the deep end, so much for my bragging....sorry fellows.... think I'm the faint heart one.....yesterday spent more time sliding on my bumb than riding, the Keihin can be a handfull a times....just want to add I think the Delorto works fine, as I'm sure most would agree, can be alot kinder a times too....Michael
  14. If you want to get more poke & max use of your engine then I would suggest you put one on, beware though it does rev much higher and faster so not for the faint hearted. I installed one a month or so ago on my 2.9 Sherco (05). Still looking at tweaking it with some jetting, also float does need adjusting as original setting does tend to leak through the overflow. Overall I love it. Being overseas the price I paid is possibly not relivant, how about some of the local bike shops for pricing
