  1. cheers for the advise, I'll have a another go at fitting and use a large hammer :-)
  2. I've cleaned up both the kickstart shaft and kickstart clamp and it still works its way off I replaced the bolt and as it worked its way off it damaged the thread as the bolt left the grove Any ideas?
  3. The kickstart on my Fantic 240 works its way off. The bolt is tight (very tight) but it still works its way off. Is there a special bolt that has a shank that fits in the grove on the kickstart shaft? As the bolt is a standard bolt.

    Original Shocks

That's my long term plan but I want to ride the bike while I do bits. So I need tyres as a priority and a towbar to move it around and I've had to buy the bike so my slush fund is a bit empty. I just want the shock to last a couple of months, I don't even mind if I have to top the oil up after each ride until have have I can get some new ones. I can get NJB clubmans for

    Original Shocks

I'm rebuild my shocks, can you let me know where you got the seals from and do you know how much oil you need to add to the shocks when you put them back together. Also, is standard fork oil OK?
