Cheers Heath, O-rings were fine but new ones will be going in. There are a surprising number of o-rings in the Pro engine Just got to check the gearbox works before I box the bottom half up finally. Tony

Hello, In the process of stripping my 03 Gas Gas Pro to change a leaking crank seal I found that the coolant was black and oily. It would seem that my water pump is drinking oil as well. I'm amazed that there was any left in the gearbox. So my question - should I flush the radiator before reassembling the cooling system (and if so, with what?)or just fill up with new coolant? New waterpump seal on its way from BVM. Cheers, Tony
  3. OK. You hold the ratchet...
  4. Ta for the reply. You were right. An air tool took 2 seconds to take the bolt out. And its a right hand thread. Cheers, Tony
  5. Kilkenny isn't really big enough for motocrossers. From memory the ownership of the land is uncertain but its been used by trials riders for years with no problems that I'm aware of. I've been up there dozens of times as has R2W and the extended R2W family of trials nutters. Its a nice trials venue with big stuff and little stuff. Plenty of scope for setting out sections. I'd think that Heath will drag you up there once you're back from HK anyway and you can see for yourself. Cheers, Tony
  6. Can anyone confirm whether the flywheel retaining nut on an 03 Pro is a normal (anti clockwise to remove) or left hand (clockwise to remove) thread? Seems stubborn to remove. Anyone done this before? Do I need air tools? Cheers, Tony
  7. Hello, We've been riding at Kilkenny near Andoversford (not far from Cheltenham) for a good few years. Not sure of the legality but we've never had any trouble and its nice and secluded so you don't bother anyone. Maybe Heath (R2WTrials) can comment? Cheers, Tony
