  1. Hello folks, we con't run a trial on this date at Gala, it clashes with other events including a Stevenson trial, we will look at dates in Nov, thanks.Tam

  3. Hello folks, I would like to thank every body who helped us to put on the trial,.We have permission to run a trial at Skirling, give us as your thoughts on dates .. We could also run a Friday night trial up at the quarry for the less talented. Again give me your thoughts on this. thanks.Tam
  4. Hello folks, just back from the quarry, we have laid out 15 sections. every thing looks good, anything wrong with section 15 blame Broony - it's all his work (future clerk of the course material ) . Hope to see you all tomorrow, thanks.Tam
  5. Hello folks, Sundays trial will be at the quarry on the B7007 Gorebridge to Innerleithen . It will be flagged at Quarry entrance and on the A7 two miles from Middleton. Hope to see the usual crew there. Are the Beamish Boys coming out to trial? not heard much from Turps lately ,thanks.Tam
  6. Hello folks, just scrubbed a hole load of crap I had composed, hit some wrong key, can't fix a key board with molegrips you know. Anyway the trial is on for Sunday, I will keep you posted as the week goes on, hope broony is out on his C15. Tam

  9. Hello folks, just back from Moffat, we have laid out 14 sections, just the route marking to do in the morning.The cost of the trial will be £8, we ran at a loss last year. Hope Turps remembers our eggs. If any body arrives before the road side flags have been put out, please stay at the road-end until we are there,thanks.Tam

  12. Hello folks, I have been asked for direction to the trial .The trial is at Bodesbeck Farm. Moffat. DG10 9LQ. The farm is on the A708 Moffat to Selkirk road, if coming from Selkirk it is three miles past The Grey Mares Tail. It will be flagged from the road in the usual way, thanks.Tam

  14. Hello folks, I have been in touch with the farmer today, he confirms the ground is OK to trial on,if there is any more snow by Sunday he will keep me informed. We will lay out the trial on Saturday and hopefully every thing will be ok for a good days trialing on Sunday. This is a Pre65 twinshock trial.Remember the clocks change,thanks.Tam
  15. Hello folks, we have 10 sections and they are all in the burn, so make sure you have your sealskin socks.Could be well worth the trip Turps is bringing chocolate eggs for us . Hope the snow gets a shift maybe the heatwave Broony is predicting will be the answer .I will post directions nearer the time, thanks. Tam
  16. Hello Ross,thanks for noticing the mistake,right keys wrong order. We had a look at this bit of ground last year,it has the potential for a cracking trial,hope the weather is on our side.Not heard much from Turps,hope to see him out entertaining us on his Beamish again .Hope Mell can manage some trials this year on his Greeves, it would be also be good to see his son out again after his return to trialing last year, thanks.Tam
  17. Hello folks, we will run 4 trials on the following dates. Moffat 31th March, Gorebridge 23rd June , Hume 8th Sep and Gala 27th Oct .There is other dates and venues we are looking at. I will post more information for Moffat in the next few days,thank.Tam

Hello,sorry for the delay on giving any up to date club info.The land owner at Moffat would like us to have a trial in March.Looking at the calendar the only date that does not clash with scrambles or local trials is March 17th. This is quite short notice but I'm ok for setting the trial out for this date.This is a first class piece of land and one of the best I have managed to find. It may also be available for a trial later in the year .If you could give me some kind of response before Monday, we will apply for a permit if it looks like there is enough going to turn up,thanks.Tam

Hello folks,I would like to thank Lewis,Jock,Robert and Creena for the time they gave up to put this trial on.I would also like to thank Mel and the others who gave me shots of their bikes after all the sparks escaped from my ignition,don't think I could feature in the results after riding 8 different bikes,new way to keep fit run the lap and ride the first bike to appear at the next section,hope it does not set a new trend.I would also like to thank the land owner for letting us loose on such a great piece of ground.The next trial we had planned was Perth 23/sep this is scrapped due to clash of dates, thanks.Tam
