The gear box timing side cover differ in that the side points one has a dome over the end off the crank I use a different sleeve gear and lay shaft gear to lower first gear Some later lay shaft { where the gear is pressed on are larger ) but the rest should be the same The smaller gear for third has slightly different dogs in being half round and a grove next to the teeth I have discovered one of my main shafts is longer by 15 thou so it may be worth checking and is to tight to rotate freely
