  1. Looking forward to it. Stopped in last year but felt a bit out of place as I was so fresh into trials riding. Seemed like a very fun and family oriented event however. Will the venue remain the same?
  2. I am happy to come upon this thread. My 2010 GG had a brand new IRC when I purchased the machine. SEVERAL times I have had it go flat under heavy riding conditions, as a matter of fact it went flat least weekend when things got a bit hairy. I have no complaints with the tire aside from it going flat and it NEVER looses pressure while sitting all week only out on the trail. I like to keep it at 5psi.
  3. I am new to trials (1 year) and I've had three GG bikes in that time. In one year I have ridden hundreds of hours with lots of guys on different bikes including older bikes. The older GG JXT's are great bikes, in fact my uncles is INCREDIBLY well used and abused but still runs like a champ. It just keeps going and going and going…. My first bike was an 05 GG 300 and it to was BEAT, never babied, ridden hard by a big guy and used A LOT. Although very ugly this bike still performed flawlessly and the guy I sold it to is still riding the wheels off of it without incident. Long story short in my experience all the trials bikes are great, they all last a long time, they take an incredible beating and although brand loyalties reign there seems to be no "good choice", just "you're choice" From experience I'd just suggest buying the cleanest and newest bike you can get your hands on. Regardless of what bike you purchase you will have a great time riding it. BTW even my 2010 GG is hard to find neutral and some hunting is involved on occasion.
  4. New guy from British Columbia Canada. I have been OBSESSED with trials motorcycles since unknowingly "trying" one last X-mas. I was immediately HOOKED and began scouring for a nice used bike. One year, HUNDREDS of hours riding and 3 bikes later I am still in LOVE and ride a 2010 GG 280. I live in Burnaby B.C. and ride A LOT at Ioco, Cowichan Valley, Southern Okanagan and whenever I can up at Pemberton. I prefer long technical trail riding, mountains, back country and getting out into the middle of nowhere in small groups but also very much enjoy observed and practiced riding also. Seems here in BC we have such a HUGE diversity and availability of outstanding terrain. I have a home in Summerland, live in Burnaby and spend considerable time on Southern Vancouver Island if anyone is ever up for riding please drop me a PM.
