Thanks for the reply but my problem is that there aren’t any bolts that I can see holding the front pipe to the barrel – from memory it looks like it’s pushed through from the inside somehow.

I wonder if someone could help me please? I recently bought my lad a GasGas 80 TXT 2007, which is leaking oil on the joint between the first and second pipe. I’ve bought new gaskets but cannot see how the front pipe is removed. Am I just being thick?! Any help much appreciated before I get my big hammer out! Thanks, Steve.

Think I've sorted it - checked the jets and couldn't see through the pilot jet it was so blocked up. Funny thing was the rest of the carb looked clean. Anyway, thanks for help.

I’ve not long owned my Beta Rev 3 250 2stroke 2006 so pretty new to them. Up until now it’s been running great but yesterday it started playing up and I was hoping for a bit of advice. It started and ran fine for 10/15 minutes. It then wouldn’t rev cleanly and cut out. After a lot of kicking over (turned the petrol off and held the throttle open in case it flooded), it eventually started. Again it wouldn’t run right – when cracking the throttle the power would take a while to kick in and it started smoking pretty badly. Rode it for a little longer and decided to cut the day short and head back to the van. I think by this point it was reluctant to tick over. After the engine stopped running there looked to be un-burnt oil at the end of the silencer still smoking and it seemed hot. I’ve ordered a new plug and was going to strip the carb as I’m thinking blocked jet. Does this sound like a common problem with these and has anyone got any ideas of what else to check out (I have read of the stator going on these). Many thanks in advance. Steve.

Sorry to keep firing questions at you guys but I'm trying to get my head round this. I've got an oil leak on the gearbox oil level window bolt. I've tightened it a bit but haven't got a torque setting so don't want to go mad. Is this a common thing? I presume there's a seal on there somewhere that needs changing. Could someone give me a bit of advice please? Many thanks guys , Steve.

Just got a 2006 Beta rev 3 - how do I check the gearbox oil level? The window isn't showing anything but there is oil in there. I'm going to drain and refill just to be on the safe side though but i'd like to know if I'm missing something here. Many thanks Steve.

Hi Guys - new on here and new to trials so please forgive me any stupid questions. Just bought a Beta Rev 3 250 2006 for a go at trials - the bike doesn't have a side stand so need to get one. I've had a look around but there doesn't seem to be much about. Could someone point me in the right direction please. Many thanks guys, Steve.
