ive been looking in to a harder rear shock spring as ive read the standard spring is suited to riders up to 80KG im around 97KG without helmet and boots!
ive seen a couple of shops online do a 10% and 20% stronger spring but no stock.
just bought a beta evo, the foot pegs feel as if they are facing down over, i wedged a washer in between the bracket and peg and it feels nice and level now, but obviously that washer will just drop out, any idea why they are facing down? its like the mounting has worn or something.
only had my bike a couple weeks, ive noticed the tyre goes flat after a few days, today i took the wheel off and put it in water to find out where its leaking. its leakin from a slit in the side wall, its about 20mm long but only leaving very slowly...
is this repairable or is it game over for the tyre?
its a michelin xlite and dosent look very old at all so its a shame to have to bin it....
how much "free play" shold their be in the rear suspension on the sherco 290 2012?
how do i know when to replace the buushes etc? also if theres to much free play what bushes/bearings do i actually need? do i need the whole set or is it just dog bones or what?
hmm, it does seem to get louder/more frequent when its hot... and when it is hot the fan on the radiator seems to stay on longer than what it used to on my last Gas Gas 300....
my gas gas 300 seems to make a knock noise when letting off the throttle, ive tried to video it but it sonds abit tinny on the video, it sounds abit like the piston slapping... ive heard about pinking and wondered if it was this? any ideas how to cure it?
