    Finally Back!

Yup. That lesson has been learnt the hard way unfortunately! I absolutely love this bike and I think murder might be on the cards if this one goes missing

    Finally Back!

Been out of trialling for a while now after my gasser was stolen from me. However, the Mrs surprised me with a joint xmas/bday pressie, a 2010 raga! Words cannot describe how good it felt to take it out for a run on boxing day! to top it off its the colour set I have always wanted!!
  4. So how did you get it back??
  5. Morning All. I'm hoping it doesn't come to them being sold on and beyond my finding, however posting here just in case. Last Thursday 11/07 I had my garage broken into and had my 2006 Gas Gas 300 pro and my 7 year old sons Suzuki LT80 quad taken. I have some very identifiable features of both vehicles, however not sure I should post them up on the internet? I Have notified the police and they have added my bike to the PNC register (?) based on frame/engine number. I am checking all of the usual places for selling online, however I have had some info that this may be some local scrotes. The copper who came out to me (an enduro rider), advised me to get the bikes back however I can without getting trouble, which I intend on doing providing this information is legit! As some of you may have seen, I've not had the gasser long and have just finished getting the engine right and fitted a brand new tyre! the quad was a birthday present for a kid! So as you can imagine i'm not best pleased. P.S. there is a £500 reward on offer for info leading to the return of both bikes.
  6. I guess it depends on the time of year and whether you're competing or just 'playing'? I generally leave a back tyre until the front side of the nobbles obviously look rounded, then spin it, when the other side is rounded i'll replace. As for the front, not really sure, just replace it at the same time as the back for good measure?
  7. I dont't even think i heard them mention the word 'trials'... love em and the show, but that has annoyed me. Might 'tweet Clarkson...
  8. i did think at the time that it felt like there was some camera trickery as the whole jump wasn't showed at once. However until it is proven i will believe it was real and pretty spectacular i agree it will never happen, and that top gear is a car show so wouldn't be promoting trials, or any other form of motorcycling for that matter, however they could have at least let Dougie show off a bit more, or even introduce him properly and name the sport he is famous for!
  9. it is indeed. the jump at the end!! however, i think it could have been better used to show off trialling to the Top Gear viewers and get some more support/interest
  10. replaced my thermoswitch and took the bike out for a few hours to test, fan now behaving properly and bike running lovely, if not a bit loud! so, have removed centre/rear box and given them to someone to cut open, re-pack and re-weld. as well as welding the lower bracket back on for me which has been broke since i got the bike! can't wait to get it back and see the difference! Also bought a new back tyre which i'll try and get round to fitting this week while the exhaust is off and bike out of action.
  11. Not sure what more power will achieve in trials? Your bike is either knackered or youre riding it enduro style and have bought the wrong type of bike?
