  1. i have a steel kicker off a Synt..i belive it will work...

i have a local dealer that can order you a new Rev 3 kicker..heck an Evo kicker will work as well.

PM me and ill give you his number

  2. no i never have...iv only put 14 hours on it,, rode the twin shocker and the TR34 most the year,,

i was plaining on high temp soldering a snake exention on it this winter.. might ride it this weekend,.

will see, still have the dont scratch it ju ju ..

  3. funny...they sure welcomed cash...but not labor.. we have become the land of free handouts..

    an observation.

on the news. i noticed several over weight men on ATVs hauling things over a small bridge that took them 3 days to build...

by the way they handled said ATVs it didnt look like they have much skill level..

    so..

its ok to have Bubba on an ATV with little or no skill level to haul supplies, part of the way..

but its not ok to have some of the most skilled riders on the planet haul supplies right to the people that need it...and no bridge would have been needed. roads or trails would have not been needed..

this is one of the reasons our country is hurting... Captian obvious needs to save the planet.

personally i belive that the ATV was made for people that cant ride a motorcycle...just sayin

  4. an update on our offer to help families that were cut off from the flash floods..

i spent a day offering help...DOW, FS, ect, all thought is was a great idea, was told that the roads were closed...i said...we dont need roads..your not getting it...i messeged the Sherrif of that county..his lack of responce to it...when he responded to every other one from other people. tells me...alot...thanks to all those who jumped up and offered time, gas, and a motorcycle so that others may have water, food, meds ect... seems Boulder cant past what they think of Dirt bikes to get free help...

  5. TLR 250 clutches are tricky.. i used XR springs, and new Honda clutch plates..

change the oil more then normal, the 250 runs hotter then most, and breaks down the oil, the clutch will grab and stick when hot.

easy pull lever on the clutch arm helps..

my TLR has been a sticky shifter since iv owned it...the other 2 TLR 250s iv owned were as well.

get the clutch issue worked out..and youll be happier.

  6. idea was givin to me by a local AM talk radio station...callers couldnt get meds, water, food, and other things to over 400 people that have been cut off from the roads ect, that didnt want to get air lifted out.

Fema gave them a one way trip..once you leave the house..they dont let you back in..

as it stands right now..i have 8 to 10 upper level riders myself included, {EMT} .. that are welling to ride in the harsh areas by Lyons, upper left hand canyon. and Storm mountain.. and deliver what ever we can carry in a large back pack..we are on hold until the ground dries out a bit more per Fema...

we get to help and give the sport a good name, and in return...we get to ride virgin rocks and logs...

  7. please contact me direct, or via FB..im the one putting this together..have a meeting tomorrow with Fema, using my EMT cert, to get us in...we can go places,,no other machine or critter can...Advance level or higher...we dont need to be rescuing rescures..

this is a very rocky and hard area, lots of rocks and deadfalls, in dark timber, steep grades..

we will be delivering water, food, meds, ect, to over 400 people that are cut off from roads from wash out roads..

  8. nice collector bike...but not a good starter bike..parts are hard to get, water pumps are a nightmare,

spend a little more money and get a Rev3.. youll be glad you did.

the Zero has a cable clutch...

avoid any of these bikes 93 and older for a starter bike,.

the Zero was ahead of its time in 1990,,,but it had so many issues down the road,

the water pump was its weak point...forks were bad news, rear shock was rough..

early disc braks were kinda good..

for under 2500.00 you can find a good used Rev 3. and you will be much happier,

they are very reliable, and easy to ride, nothing turns like a Rev..

  9. screw it all the way in..back it out 1 and a half turns...after the bike warms up,,you can fine tune..

if you notice a little notch in your kicker lever???thats were i had mine stick out...

one of the things i liked and miss about the 09 Beta evo.

  10. your lucky...they usually fail with the check ball stuck closed...they run great for about a half an hour then die...no more start,..you check spark.,,,take the carb down...then it starts again...runs..dies..

you get frustrated... and then you open the cap...wooosh...ahhh...new cap time...

that went on for a couple weeks. until i figured the cap issue..almost traded in the bike over it..

something so simple can ruin your head..

just a small spring and check ball... invest in the race cap...red and better quality...stock cap is 50.00 race bling is 75.00 i think...worth the extra money..

  11. the 250 and 350 motors are nothing alike, the only thing the have in common are the words Yamaha

    they mount different, as well.

look at the back of the cases...make sure the its not broken out from hard use...most TY250s were rode hard.

every 250 iv seen has had the rear case repaired.

used to be a few after market goodies available in the UK...John Shirt did a lot of trick stuff on the 250s...

he offered a tricked out 250 and very few 350s..

the carbs are poop..a newere upgrade is in order...

  12. rummors have it all new Trial machines will run on Methane gas...and will have a small hose that fits easy in the riders pants...since most of us are full of hot air and BS..lol
