  1. thats the day i got it...and 3 other rare honda trials bikes. im so glad that i didnt sell the one i have now, i think one of your buddies tried to trade me an OSSA for it...

once i figured out the power band, modified the pegs, and worked over the forks..she really came alive,

i know of another TLR thats not super clean, but fixable.

in this group of bikes, i also picked up a high boy framed TL250, it went to the UK, had to sell some of those rare steeds to cover some things, that came up and changed my life.

  2. has the boxed frame...and is painted..

this bike is hands down a better bike then the 2011 and earlier 4Ts...the T pipe is worth the extra money.. i did some other small mods, carb spring. and heavy springs...its only got about 10 hours on it right now, the more i ride it, the better it gets..

    power house for sure.

My 290 2T was a great bike, but this is a sexy beast for sure.. have one Trial on it..and didnt ride it hard, new bike learning curv for sure.

so scared to scratch it hard lol

  3. my 2013 EVO 3004T, with a 2 T rear fender, the 2T fender makes it easier to clean the air filter, the 4Ts still use the old rear fender,

you have to drill one hole at the tip if the fender, thats the only mod...

you have to order the fender and air box cover..

  4. i have a 91 ALP, and a TR34, bikes are pretty close, different shock and forks,

i have updated the 34 to the newer shock and upsidedown forks. works very well,

i parted out a SYNT, so i had the nice stuff off that bike.

the 34 uses a motosplat, and the ALP has Ducati electrics..

  5. id bet my TLR 250 against that Cota any day of the week.. seems the TLR 250 took a few world championships...what was that guys name???? Eddy something..?

lousy trail bike, by the way...top speed down hill 6th gear might be 40 miles an hour.

some Reflex parts will interchange, bearings, ect..most parts are TLR250 only, and hard to get, some aftermarket parts are available.

they are rare in the U.S. and not common else were...

the TLR 200 Reflex is nothing close to a TLR 250 R..

did i miss something? why would anyone ruin a rare bike, by trying to convert it to mono shock...

buy a RTL, and sell the TLR to me...

  6. without a thermostat, youll always have puking issues. as the heat and fan are not regulated.

with the fan running all the time. eventually it will eat the fan motor, and put a larger draw on the stator, and likely burn up your stator...

anyone whos rode a beta knows, when the fan kicks on,.you can feel a slight draw on the bike.

    as iv said..

fix it right, and it will give you lots of fun and enjoyment, half ars it, and youll be a unhappy camper

  7. pat and phil. Cody webb, Karl Davis, the blonde haired guy with the pony tail taking pictures is my good friend Ron Gardner.

first rider in your second video is Shad Peterson {WY} minding for him, is Bill Haskle, owner of balance trials supply, then Keith Wineland, with Dusty Headwall minding

thats the loaves of bread at the Tucker ranch, awesome section, over the other side, we run them up, and then all the way back straight down..and then up that gully..real tough, even the best struggle with it,,imagine if it were no stop.. great post my friend..hope to see you riding the summer. tune up trials this Sunday

  8. stop and fix the fan issue.

dont use ATF...maxima MTL 85 works wonderful with Beta clutches, you may have to take the clutch down and clean it, debur it as well if ATF has been used for a long time...maybe think of new clutch plates.

ATF swells the discs and ruins the clutch. and doesnt lube for beans.

the fan issue is likely the condenser, its located inside the frame, behind the steering head, remove the small plastic plugs on the side of the frame, ahead of the tank..youll be hating life getting it out, replacement part will cost about 50.00

if you email me direct at molinenorski@msn.com ill email you a download of the Techno shop manual.

before you ride the bike like a bandit...stop and grease the wheel bearings and shock linkage..both are weak points of the bike.

forks should be drained, flushed, and refilled as well with good 5wt fork oil, i use Bel Ray..it doesnt foam up and break down like others...

likely your water pump seal is bad, replace it and the bearings..total cost is less then 10.00 , flush out the coolent and use good motorcycle grade coolent..waterweter is a good ad, and keeps a trials bike nice and cool.

  9. unfortunatly, i wont be at the world round this year, i even had a free ride offered, and a bike, and a place to stay,. and so on.

i have a full plate with setting trials, and getting my ride ready for the Nationals, im planning on the TS line this year again..maybe i can swap out that #5 plate for a #1 plate..

im the anti drama sort, and avoid it..as i dont deal with it very well lol.

i can relate, Keith Wineland hopped around on the back wheel on my late wifes KT 250..the look on her face was priceless, when they say you cant hop and stop on a twin shock...i say..BS..iv seen it done..

honestly. i dont think this rule will stay, and wont come to the NATC..it hasnt even started yet, and already people are standing on the soap box, thumping chests..
