  1. I would not think it is that because the coolant level never changes, still the same level as last time i changed over to engine ice coolant. Brian
  2. Thanks, I just changed again and I will go for a ride and see if it turns color after the ride, this time however I will not wash the bike first...perhaps a bit of water from washing is getting past the air cleaner or something. Brian
  3. Hi ll, I have a 2011 cabestany and went to change the oil the other day as the shifting felt notchy and clutch seemed to be sticking more than usual when cold. Well i pull drain bolt and it looks like white sludge! I had maybe 3 trail rides on this change and water is pretty scarce where i ride, i did cross a creek several times last outing but the water was barely to the skid plate. Can't see how water got in there as i was going really slow. After changing oil about four times in a row i thought it looked good and went out for a ride today and changed it when i got back about 30 mile trip. Oil still looked white (not as bad as before though) how many changes before this goes away or is it clutch plate stuff or some other problem. Coolant level never changes....thought someone might ask this. Thanks brin
  4. laser1, I have already been to that site and downloaded what I thought was relevant but everything there is old stuff, much of it is similar but not exact to what I have. I would prefer a service manual made specifically for the correct bike and year...this is what I am after. Thanks. B
  5. Hi all, I know this has probably been asked a hundred times before but is there such a thing as an up to date service manual for these bikes. I have downloaded the 2011 ST parts pdf and some of the stuff I am looking for is not even correct, same goes for most of the other manuals. They all seem to stop with model year 2003, surely some things have changed since then on these bikes? Can one be purchased from the factory? Thanks in advance. B
  6. Hi, Just ordered an Ohlins rear shock for a 2011 Sherco 300 from Splatshop and was wondering if anyone knows the real Ohlins part number for it? It will not arrive to me for about 2-3 weeks and I was wanting to read an owners manual or setup stuff specific to the model in the mean time. Thanks. Brian
  7. nelly1, Thanks I will just ignore it then and keep filling it up when it gets low. Brian
  8. Hi all, Is it usual for tubeless tires to leak down somewhat after sitting for about 3 weeks? I do not have rim tape as it is the newer type of rim and it does not appear to have a hole in so the only place may be the stem. This is a Michelin X-Lite. Thanks. Brian
  9. Hi All, Got contacted by an employee and hopefully we'll get it sorted, probably was just one of those things that got lost in the shuffle. Thanks again. Brian
  10. jordi, Yes, that is the website I ordered the parts from, problem is their contact area does not work....fill in your name and all the info and such and hit submit and it just gives an error on the page. Also their email info@johnleemotorcycles.co.uk does not work. I will try and work out the time difference and cal them. Thanks. Brian
  11. nickytricks, I thought about ringing them but I am in the US and with the time difference it makes it hard to contact them. Would prefer a working email. Brian
  12. Hi all, Thought this might be the most appropriate section to post this as it has to do with parts. Just wondering if anybody has any information on whether this place is still in business or not. I placed an order online with them and the following day there is no record of the order (logging into account)even though my CC shows a pending charge. Their "contact us" form does not work on their web site and their email just bounces back as unknown address. Any help would be most appreciated thanks. Brian
