  1. My clutch drags when I first start the bike up. Fire it up, whip in the clutch, select gear and it sets off with the clutch in. After about 3 - 5 seconds the clutch is fine, and doesn't drag at all. Any ideas?? The action after this initial drag is faultless, nice and light with no sign of dragging at all. Im hoping that something like an oil change should sort it, what do I whack in ATF?? And how much roughly??
  2. Need a front for my 97 JTX 270. Anyone know of any decent (cheap) sources?? The rear is a michelin. Don't mind part worn...!! Kieran

Just thought i'd say hi. Im live near Glossop and have just bought a TXT 270. Couple of work chums have returned to trials, so I've joined in to show em a few tricks.... Probably frequenting Hawksnest on the Buxton to Leek road, so if you see a complete idiot wobbling around with too older guys with all the gear and no idea, be sure to say hi..... Kieran

I've just bought a 1998 JTX270 for my 15 year old step son to ride. Problem is, he had his first go on it and scared himself to death on it. We arn't looking towards competitions, just something to play on. I've advertised the bike on Ebay, and have been offered a JT250. The guy claims its far tamer than the JTX, and would be much suitable to learn on. What do you boys reckon?? Kieran
