I have a 1980 175 and when I stripped engine there wasn't any shims in it. Are they meant to be there?

yeah it all runs well. blowing slightly between exhaust and silencer but a good solid running bike. he wants 750 for it i told him it was worth 6. dunno if hes to chuffed with that assesment lol

hi folks my mate has this bike and is going to sell it but hes no sure what its worth. he asked me but i aint a scooby about gasgas bikes. is it old enough to be a classic yet??

hi guys. my mate has an old montesa in his shed. he reckons its a 247 or 248 . its an early model with gear lever on right hand side of bike. has anyone any ideas what it is and exactly how old it is.

i removed my clutch casing yesterday and there was one of these washers lying in casing. where exactly does it go?

was there a side stand fitted on these as standard?

cheers bud ordered the bushes from inmotion today. il make sure i can get them in and the shaft lined up before i get a new kickstart. inmotion will have a seat in by end of month they reckon so just an airbox to track down

cheers matey the bike was a barn find. has been bump started for last few years i was told. will have to sort this problem out then invest in a kickstart and a seat. also need an airbox... any ideas where to find one?? peem

hi guys the kickstart shaft on the bike ive bought is rattling about. is there a bearing/bush behind the casing that has gone or is it something more serious?
