Hey Martin, I'm in Canada. I thought I'd throw up those pic's, it's been kinda quiet on the Yamaha forum and how often do you see one in that condition? It really only has about 10 or 20 kilometers the rest are from pushing it around for 25 years, it adds up. Every 5 years or so i'll fire it up and take it up and down the drive to bring it up to operating temp. I'm kind of tired of looking at it sitting there doing nothing, but I'm having a hard time with the idea of scratching it up now. What would you do?

Finally got around to changing the oil, no big deal since it only has 98 kilometers on it. I bought it as a spare for when my other ty wears out, but it's still going strong! So this one has been sitting in my spare room for 25 years. I've got a bunch of nos stuff for ty's including a tank for a pinky. I've seen some mono's with some padding on the seat, it looks to be factory (maybe from a street version). I'd really like to find one, anyone have an idea. Thanks, Jeff

Hey great to see a mono enthusiast, I've a couple I've restored. This one hasn't been, it's never been riden. it's been sitting in my spare bedroom since new, it's been started a couple times but that was years ago. It's never even been washed, actually the original shipping grease is still on the chain. I think I'll compete it next year (kidding). I really don't know what to do with it, would you ride it? Jeff

Actually a guy here in Canada makes them, about $80 cdn. I think that may be around 30-40 pounds. The best thing is they bolt on or off in seconds with no mods to the bike. I was wondering if you had a source for the original tank decals, I've been looking for years. Jeff

Your mono looks great, I'm a larger guy and found my mono's a bit cramped. the brackets in the pic's move the bars forward about 2" and up about the same. I can ride all day now!

Hi Marky G, I also picked up a metal tank and was interested in how you mounted yours. The rear tab is fine, but the front mount holes are way off from the holes on the frame. Any help is greatly appreciated. Jeff
