Thanks, I'll try 80:1 next time.

I have just been looking through Sherco's website and on their setup and lubrication guide they recommend a fuel/oil ratio of 80:1, I was told to use 50:1 by the guy I bought the bike off. Which ratio should I use, or is there any other recommendations? The bike is a Sherco 290 2002.

I've got plenty of weight behind the kick, I'm still a bit of a novice so the thought of kickback might be putting me off a bit (only had the bike 5 weeks). I was planning getting the bike serviced before spring anyway so if the timing is out then hopefully it will get sorted then. I had the same problem on my last bike (climber 280) so maybe its just me not giving it 100% with the thought of breaking my leg.

The only problem I have with starting my Sherco 290 is kick-back (when the kick start returns and nearly kicks me off the bike), does anyone else have same problem? or is it only me/my bike?

Where can I get new plastics for my 2002 Sherco 290?

Anyway, does anyone know when the trials are supposed to be on Eurosport next? Will we ever see the sheffield trials?

It just shows you what a bit of practice does. I've just got myself a Sherco 290 and am new to this trials lark (although have had other bikes) but have noticed a big difference already, just with a few practice outings. I dont think i will win anything in 3 months time though, wishful thinking!
