  1. Thanks for that hint! It's kind of hard to do that now since I got the cylinder and one engine cover off already. But even there, nothing has any play except the clutch basket does a little bit... But I think that's a typical gasgas thing that these rattle around a bit....
  2. Hello fellow gasgas riders, My 2000 TXT 200 does a pretty loud knocking sound which I just can't really locate. It's a very regular knocking completely independent of clutch oder bike leaning, it depends a little on the load on the engine but that's rather irregular. I already took the cylinder off and looked for play in rod or main bearings but nothing... The clutch also is free of play. Does anyone know what could cause the sound? I could also provide a video if that helps Thanks a lot
  3. Yes I know. Very old Topic but I thought I'd give my two cents anyway. One thing I just recently noticed was when doing very tight turns and corners. Everyone tells you to steer with your feet. And that is correct. But your upper body makes a tremendous difference too. Really focus on looking very far into the corner, really relax your upper body and move it with the bike and the handlebars. Keep the shoulders parallel to the bars and don't be afraid to lean into the corner just a little bit so you stand comfortably and relaxed mostly on the outer footpeg. That really helped me dealing with tight turns but also with the a bit faster ones on the trail!
  4. Sadly you were right. None of the plates were in a kind of acceptable condition. Going to get some new plates then...
  5. Thank you. I was not sure if it's okay for the plates to grind them down a bit. Will definitely try that if they are swollen up ?
  6. Okay I'll try to get my hands on some. Will take a look at the clutch plates and change the oil while at it. Hope that helps and I won't need new plates?
  7. But shouldn't it slip all the time if there wasn't? Or can this cause drag too?
  8. Okay thank you. I'll have a look at the basket soon. How can I tell if they are swollen? Is that very obvious or are there some measurements to check? I'll bleed the hydraulics one more time but did that very recently. I'll have a look at some atf. I'm just unsure whether it's OK because I heard some people not recommending it for the pre pro models.
  9. So. There is a Problem with my "new" gasser. The clutch won't properly, if at all, disengage. Even when warm. If I pull the clutch in and open the throttle I feel a little bit of slipping but it still almost accelerates as if the clutch was out. I changed the oil recently to some (inexpensive) 10w30 mineral engine oil but there was no change. The adjustment screw on the lever is adjusted to the max but it just won't disengage. Would be very glad if somebody was able to help me with that. ?
  10. Thank you. So I'll check for those blue caps then.
  11. Ok. Thank you İ know about the 163 but since İ will ride it on the road quite a bit and my licence only allows a max cc of 125cc the scorpa would be ideal. If i had the choice İ would go for a 125 or 200 cc gasgas. But as İ said İ need something that İ can ride on the road...
  12. Since i´m looking into getting one of the 125 Scorpas (the older models with the 38mm paioli forks). I´d like to know if the forks are adjustable in compression and rebound damping, aswell as preload. I can´t find anything about those ones. So can anybody help me out? Also are there any ´special´ things about the suspension on these bikes I should know about?
  13. Yes indeed. And I'm happy about it too. Also very thankfully that I was able to get that addiction. The club I started at is so great because you go there for the first time and get a bike, all the gear you want/need and advice from one of the best German riders for free.
  14. Hey guys. I´m a 16 year old beginner trials rider from Hof in Germany. I´ve been riding for a for a few months now but only on the property and bike of Msc Stiftland Mitterteich. I don´t have a bike yet but i´m trying to get a 125 scorpa tysf as the snow finally melts (oh good (c)old Germany). Well, that´s it from me and i´m looking forward to the next season of riding when I´ll post some pictures, stories. Maybe also some stupid questions that will make the more experienced riders on this forum slam their heads against a wall several times. That´s it so far and hello to all the forum users.
