  1. Thanks for the comprehensive answer!! i had found that it was a 5 speed,I rang Bultaco uk,they are very helpful. i will try the new points and condenser route before I spend £200 on electronic. I'm not in a rush and have plenty of time to play with it. apparently this has not been run for 2 years,although last owner had fitted a new mikuni carb it was all gummed up,that has been well cleaned out so can only be the timing at fault. thanks again!!
  2. Surprising what can be done when you have the time!! the wing was one of my goldwing restorations from ground up!! sadly to heavy for me now,so I thought something lighter was called for
  3. need to know how many gears does a 1978 Sherpa T 175 have, and what is the best set up for sprockets?? also is electronic ignition as good as its made out to be? is the cost worth it? and best way to set the timing on the points stator set up. thanks in anticipation!! Steve F.

  5. I am a new member. I used to ride trial in the late sixty dearly seventies. I have just bought a bike for renovation and need some information about history colour coded for paint etc etc bike is I believe Bultaco Sherpa T 175 any info would be much appreciated
