HI saw picture of this machine, I am guessing was not factory made? But beautiful all the same never seen one in the metal so to speak yet. looks like 250 monza engine or along those lines ?

only give 40 quid for it does not seem to leak but needs fair bit of work by a glasser . I have few old bultaco tanks but after ethenol has penetrated there shot .think this is one that has sat for 20 years so might be ok what they worth done ain't got a clue ?

just wanted to ask opions on weather it is worth your time and bother to restore old fibe glass tanks. or maybe bin them if have to be patched again and again , just a real shame this has probably been kicking around scince the 70s

The forks arelocking out when pulled right up ?

depends whos riding it i think .he broke 2 inch concrete gravel board in half . i think it lucky not a wooden fence they were having bar b q next door ?

he rode a ty 80 years ago in club competitions at same time Doug lamkin was in same trials .dougie got better our kid did not ??

there looks slight oil resedue on both forks now . if pulled right up the lock out solid . ?

He bent the forks and snapped leavers ,hes a straight line drag racer on a fire blade with nos on a weekend , god help us!!

just had back from the painters today im pleased after waiting 2 months ! next job make hidden aluminium tank . ethenol loves fibre glass

thanks for infomation if I'm not sure I ask .so many of these frames look very similar I'm not a bultaco specialist archivist . would you rather have options of experience or trust your inexperienced eye ? I'm great full for any help . As far as hearing what I want to hear! would I be taking the p*** out my own bike if I was that close minded to professionals advice . No would be the answer

thanks for that I'm thinking may be welding process on bultacos might be a give away my later 175 has been mig welded and this one seems to be very crude gas or tig welded only an idea on how might give dates on some frames ?

I think your quite right as a welder my self I am some times required to stamp a traceable stamp Mark to my jobs in case of any problems . it's an old practice so yes I belive your keen eye for detail is correct ??

what is difference with this after market exhaust on the machine expansion box much difference?

God above it will be first flat tanker bultaco frame at this rate original engine 3hp . be doing London to Brighton ?

And I believe interbreeding is healthy other wise end up with buckled wheels and slow engine ??
