  1. So I took the old tires off and measured the front 21" and rear 18" rim. They are both 1.60 +/- These are akront rims and i believe them to be original to this bike, (1968/1969 year) 21M00389
  2. I bought this Cota from the Original Owner and have been working on getting it sorted out. Its a very early model : Vin 21M00348, possibly a 1968?... It has the IRZ carb, big hubs, no chain tensioner or mount for one. Everything besides the tires is probably original. The bike runs but i have replaced the crank seals, base gasket and replaced the petcock. Working on getting tires/ tubes/ rim locks changed, seat recovered (foam is deteriorating). I don't think it will get a cosmetic upgrade, just mechanical. I like the patina. Thanks
  3. so 1.60 for the front and a 1.85 for the rear?
  4. What size rim locks/ bead locks do i need for a 1968 Cota 247 I have akront rims and will run 2.75x21 front and 4.00x18 rear. Thanks
