Sorry i cant categorically answer your question but it doesnt look like a miller frame to me. Whatever its a nice looking bike and would be a fabulous addition to anyones stable.

Some really good sections with some rocks for a change but nothing big and dangerous and i was up there today laying out and the ground is bone dry so loads of grip.
See our website www.peakclassic.co.uk for more details or contact Paul Beswick on 07946700224
Assuming there are more than two routes then how about this.
On the easiest of routes only then the winner of the Club Championship has to move up to the next class the following year and cant drop back.
One proviso if they are insistent on riding the easiest route then they score 0 Championship points so just ride for the fun of it.
My old club had 5 routes, 3 in the sections as two were 50/50 routes, so there was a route above the easy route which rode 4 or 5 of the easier Intermediate sections and 5 or 6 of the easiest sections.
Worth a try as the new season creeps over the horizon ?
Just a quick note for all the friends and supporters of Peak Classic Trials Club.

Had a couple of people contact me about the Easy / Beginner trial and Mick Andrews Training day this Sunday at Carsons farm, Grange Mill, Derbyshire. DE4 4HY
BOTH EVENTS WILL MOST DEFINITELY STILL BE GOING AHEAD.
THEY WILL NOT BE CANCELLED. NO NEED.
I was up there today to see what the venue was like after yesterdays rain and the ground is bone dry and as ALL the sections are laid out easy I cant see a problem.
Just a quick note for all our friends and supporters.

I've been down there today laying out the sections for Sundays event and the venue is in superb condition. The rocky stream bed, which is such a nice change to ride as we get less and less chance to ride streams nowadays, has just the right amount of water running down and the valley sides are bone dry.
The course will be a mixture of stream sections and climbs on the valley side so something for everyone with routes to suit beginners right up to Expert level.
So dont miss out on your chance to come and ride with us at this super venue in the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District.
A lot of "shed engineering" been going on there. Make do and mend is all very fine on a budget but the real killer at most clubs, forget the Scottish because they would just laugh, is that hydraulic clutch. They might turn a blind eye, as long as you are not winning anything lol, to the front end and the carb but that clutch would be a "problem" for most clubs. So "specials" it would be or maybe Twinshocks for some clubs. However you may know better.
If you just want to ride it then it doesnt really matter what class you are put in because you still ride the same sections.
Good luck with getting it fettled. Youve got a busy winter coming up but thats half the fun.
Please, give us all details of frame, wheels, suspension, engine spec and so on!
(just thinking of starting a first D1 build myself, while I am getting used to trial for the second time in my life, now retired and riding an '81 SWM 320 .....)
Rob Homer frame. Hubs from Alan Whitton Racing billet aluminium Bantam copies with alloy back plates. Morad rims stainless spokes laced by myself. Suspension revalved Betor units. Engine is modified D14/4 with alloy barrel and custom casting one off head reworked crank and flywheels with PVL ignition and brass additional weight from Jim Pickering. Modified Yamaha clutch from Harry Stanistreet. Modified outer cases. Lower 2nd and 3rd gears from Jim Pickering. Smaller engine crank sprocket. Self built exhaust and silencer. Marzocchi forks in Norton sliders. Alloy and titanium spindles. Modified Billet alloy yokes etc etc etc Loads more but its an ongoing project. Not as trick as some.
I’m with you now. I assumed as there was no points cover on the clutch side, the c/shaft must be reversed to have them on the drive side as per 3 speeder. But, as you say with electronic ignition it just needs a trigger on one side of the crank to work. Stupid ould me.
Any experience with suitable carbs?
Many thanks, and apologies.
Jim
Running an Amal premier 26mm as wanted to keep it legal but a MK1 and a half some people will say is better. Price is about the same as a Mikuni or Dellorto but no hassle over eligibility so works for me. Think you might have to grind the cam mounting off the end on the crank, but it was a while ago, if you want to use a D7 clutch cover and of course if your engine is a B175 then the kickstart shaft hole needs boring out too. Bolt holes all line up. Cant post photos on here of mine sorry.

Same base unit as used on the Bantam conversion. Think they are from Harry Stanistreet originally.
