I use castrol 747 at 100:1 in my SY as a castor based oil would burn of quicker and it produces less smoke. Always use super plus as well. The only thing is you have to make sure it is well mixed, and drain the carb after every ride. And drain all existing oil out before using it as it wont mix with synthetic.

I used castrol SLX 0w40 in gearbox and engine- it is a first rate oil- clutch was excellent.

Just saying hello. I recently changed from a Montesa 4RT to a Scorpa SY250. Loved riding the 4RT but amin love with the Scorpa. (Apart from the fiddly tank bolts that need removed to change the plug)
