Fuel level sensor 280tri
Well as usual my bad luck has risen yet again the head of this sensor has snapped off leaving the rest of the sensor in the thread. The unit is well tight in the thread i think that a thread lock material may of been used and with the unit being plastic it was just too tight for the head not to break. The o-ring seems ok so why it was weeping i don't really know. I have mentioned before that maybe it was coming through the unit itself as where the electric connector would fit in was always damp with fuel. Anyway i have a bigger job now and am a bit stuck as which way to go. Just couldn't unscrew could it oh no. Thanks.

Fuel level sensor 280tri
Hi konrad. No light but was going to make something work. I have already thought about using some sort of plug but wanted to try and use the sensor but i have a feeling that it is just goint to snap the head. My concern is what will break off and fall into the tank as that is another job i don't want to come across that does not need to happen. I have a feeling that the fuel might even be seeping through the internals of the sensor but i dont know for sure as it seems to be damp around all of the area. Argh

Fuel level sensor 280tri
Following on from this i have tried to undo this sensor but there seems to be to much flex in the 14mm head so much i think it will just twist off leaving the rest in the threaded hole. If this happens i do not think i will get a new part. Any suggestions if it breaks. Thank you.

Fuel level sensor 280tri
As above. Has any body removed or knows how this sensor is attached. I think mine is very lightly weeping and don't want to damage anything to sort this out. Thank you.

From hot it mumbles and goes out
As konrad has said at least get your bike on the K-scan and start from there. It is what i must do on my bike if i can find someone to do it and then you know more about how your bike is running.

Air box removal
Yes a bit further up from air pressure sensor. Same side.

Ossa back?
So are they just going to omit trails totally. I don't think i would trust the company not to fail again too much history and you just cant keep opening and closing and then customers are left with a product that has no support aka the TRI range. I wonder if this has been mentioned or even thought about in these so called meetings with so called management.

Air box removal
Ok. But what about washing the bike. The box on this bike has a hole with a grommet in it that looks as though it would allow cabling to run through it??? when you sit on the bike it is on the top left of the box and is open so if the bike is hosed down water will surely enter from there at least. Did some of the early versions of these bike have cable running through the air box? Thanks.

Air box removal
Thank you Lotus. Removed said item and it had quite a bit of debris at the bottom. I see that there is not drain hole. Is this correct as surely this box is not immune from crap and water entry. Thanks.

Air box removal
One problem after another. The bike keeps fighting me me all the way. I noticed that the screw on the throttle body for the TPS has come loose so carefully screwed it back in but hay ho the thread has stripped so now have to rethread the plastic which has now been done. Doing this i had to remove the switch unit and have no lost the correct position so now have to get it to someone who can reset it. Looking at removing the air filter the air box is really dirty and looking down the throttle body that too is dirty with what looks like sooty deposits on the butterfly so have to clean that as well. How is the airbox removed as everything is so compact. Thank.

XiU-rdi Kevlar Clutch
Following on with clutch talk. Is it just trials bikes or just Ossa with clutch problems. The reason is that my Ossa has dragging on its clutch but my Suzuki 1000 road bike has no trouble and its has 27000 miles on it and i also had a KTM 300 EXC enduro which had two seasons of competition on it. Thanks.

XiU-rdi Kevlar Clutch
Yes Konrad i was going to say similar to you about the difference with the Ossa but you explained it much better. Regarding the control ring i have found the website from the said item manufacturer and it seems that the 1 2 3 adjustment is to take up the difference in clutch wear. That was through translation. Thank you for your input. Both of you.

XiU-rdi Kevlar Clutch
Hello to who ever reads this. As title above i have just fitted one of these clutches to my bike and though has any one used the 1 2 3 adjustment on these. I have just used number one and fitted the cover and before i fill up with new oil wondered about these adjustments. Having to drain the new oil and take off the cover and then have a chance of damaging the gasket for no gain is a no no ergo why i thought i would ask on here. Thank you.
