  1. its a 2004 model in standard trim. The bike does sound quite loud even after repacking the silencer.
  2. Hello Just after some advice, I have just ridden my 315 for the first time since the SSDT. All I have done since Scotland is change the oil, air filter and repack the silencer. It may be just down to the gearing (still on Scotland gearing) but it seems to have lost a bit of mid range/bottom end power. Any suggestions on how I can freshen the bike up again? Thanks
  3. Just about managed to get all the old paint off after several hours picking! Hasn’t come up too badly so I may just put some polish on it and see what it looks like. I do remember seeing one of these tanks painted in Repsol colours though so I assumed that with the right preparation and type of paint it would come out ok.
  4. Hi, I’ve just picked up a 2nd long range tank ready for the SSDT (I hope). Can anyone recommend what paints I should use on it. The last owner painted it but it all blistered and came off when filled with fuel? Thanks
  5. Thanks for the advice......I have left the mid box restrictor in place and have just completed the second trial on the Mont and it seem to have plenty of power at the moment. I am taking the opportunity to re-grease all of the suppension linkages whilst it is still new, is there anything else I should be doing while it is stripped down?
  6. hello, just got a 2004 mont and found 3 restricters......is there a 4th between mid box and silencer because I couldn't see anything obviouse. Also will I need to change jetting?
