    hi all i have a small problem i think but need some advice from people that have ownd a rev 3 2005 250 for a while. the problem is when the throttle is reved up then releaced the engine knocks as it is slowning down does any one know the carb settings for the mixture screws. does the bike run alot better on super unleaded thanks wb from mark

    hi all recently got rid of my dreadfull unreliable gas gas pro 280 and have got a beta rev 3 05. i was just wondering if there are any manuals online or better still videos of the bike being taken appart and adjusterd. would be helpfull for if and when(touch wood) i need it any info is great thanks from mark keen

    hi i have a gas gas 280 pro whitch has developed an engine knock for no reason been riding the bike for a year or so and it has a knock like the big end is worn. i removed the barrel and inspected the piston little end big end anll were fine apart from the smallest amount of play on the little end i have tryed moving the needel in the carb up and there was no affect removed the water pump and started it and still does it any idear what could cause this wb thnaks

    the wheel didnt lock up it just started to make a hell of a racket so i turnd the engine of QUICK i can select all the gears shifting up and down.it sounds like there is something rattaling around the engine like a part of a gear or a washer/ spring or some thing i will be very carefull when stripping.     i have a gas gas 280 pro and left a message in the gasgas forum but no one is replying http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/index....view=getnewpost i basicly need to know things to look out for in the transmission and clutch parts.If you read my other thred you will have an idear what happend stripping bike on monday or tuesday waiting for a flywheel puller from a mate of mine just in case i need the transmission needs to come apart any help is usefull thanks from mark

    txt 280 is how i know it it doesnt have a black clutch cover so i dont think its a pro. what is this about the ball bearing were abouts does it go ? pics with an arrow would help. never worked on these bikes but rebuilt many 2stroke chainsaws and disc cutters never rebuilt a bike gear box but done cars. a rough ider what to look for befor i have a look.thanks for the help hope to get more replyes to help

    hi i have a gas gas 280 not pro. and i was riding back to the van and it jumped out of gear and made a grinding sound and wouldnt drive forward so i turned it of and draind the oil. no metal parts came out and i was wondering if any one has has this problem i have heard about ending the selector fork and braking teeth of the gears wb thanks any help or info would be helpfull i plan on stripping it down next week and am ok with the spaners.
