Hello I was woundering if anybody knows whet it would take to build a kt 330 such as don smith rode to be exact would be nice but Il settle for somethng close if possible Thanks
  5. What year KX cluch cover fits on the KT.
  6. but first I need to find a frame to start with and I dont want to hack up a perfectly good bike and do you know if I can find one of those sweet tank/seat combos
  7. Yeah but all we can carry is two bikes and I dont think my dad would give up his chance of being #1 just so I could pick up a KT that needs a $#!+load of work but hey I,l ask anyway I have asked more stupid questions before........... ..........He said no.
  8. Thats too bad what id give to get my hands on that bike
  9. THANKS FOR THE HELP but dont worry I wont get annoyed with the sport I was born for trials .
  10. Did you do anything to the motor besides the flywheel weight
  11. HI Im a very small guy(5 foot 5 inches tall and only 120 pounds) but my bike is about twice my weight I really like the bike alot so some little tips and tricks on how to ride a very big bike would be very helpful for a small guy like me
  12. It sound like you replicated a SWM frame If you put KX springs in the forks do you still use the stock caps?
  13. Im not sure the honda went BOOM!!! but we rebuilt the motor and so far it's working fine but I don't totally trust it as much s my KT I'd rather ride the KT but my dad might want me to ride the honda so I don't know
  14. I ride my KT almost every day but Im considering building another KT but this one will be super modified just like the factory pro bikes I hope to have the best KT ever built
  15. HI I was woundering what the modifacations to the KT250 were back in the 70-80's the modifacations done by don smith would be nice to know but any would be great to know thank's
  16. I ride line 1 at AHRMA on my bone stock KT(lights removed) and it shows no shortcomings with me exept one thing i cant throw the bike around as much as say my ty175 or tl125(probably because im only 5-5 tall and weigh 120 pounds) but i love my KT
  17. It was by far the best trial i have ever been to hands down. even though i got last on day 2 it was a great trial and the big rocks were wounderful
  18. yeah I saw a video on the net of a tt500 trails bike i dont know what frame it was in but I think it was a mix of ty250's and 175's it looked like it worked ok from what I saw that 400 250 mix i'm not sure how well it worked because I only saw a few sections where he rode it and it wasnt a pretty sight i'm not sure if it was the bike, rider, or both but the rider was line 4(Beginner line) and i don't think a yz400 motor is the most controllable motor out there but it's still a neat idea
