  4. okay, i'm lucky & have gotten to ride three trials this fall on my new to me reflex tlr200. I love it & don't know how i've managed to stay away 8 years. i've had the team at B&J RACING do my clutch, footpegs relocation/ widening, 6" renthals & awesome skid plate fabrication. me & FLEX get along better each ride, but the carb is really lacking. i am unable to get an idle that is spot on...too slow or too fast - not the easiest starting 4 stroke either, my old TL250 was better on hot starts if i recall correctly - it did have a 20mm carb on it BTW. iS THERE A FIX??? ALSO, i'm big boned : ) - approx 290 lbs with gear on???? where can i get hold of springs that will find the relex punishe d a bit less by my fat a***? thanks - it's good to be back, dean tennessee, usa
  5. I BELIEVE YOU ARE RIGHT ON IT! I REPLACED A SCREW - MISPLACED IT : ) & bet it is longer than the originals. that must be it. i'l check it. thanks friend, dean tennessee
  6. i've actually found a tooth edge broken off on the shaft the hub slides over & a concerning anmount of metal shavings in the oil i drained out of the engine??? still unsure of what's gone wrong... dean
  7. i have a USA TLR200 & installed a new set of clutch plates only to find the engine making a fearful knocking noise & having a worse clutch with a dreadful shudder. i've obviously done something wrong, but unsure what... there is wear & some new aluminum particles about - the wear is at the end of the tabs on the outer clutch basket & even when everything is tightened down - the outer hub wobbles on the shaft. any ideas? thanks dean old hickory, tn usa
  8. i'm 49 & counting w/ bad knees - i ride a pedal bike to work to strenthen the muscles around them, but i still like to sit down & wick it up on the loop. plus, i have a few ol' friends that do TS. i will still ride modern trials events & hope to stil be able to do the intermediate line : ) dean
  9. i've tried b&j -the part has been discontinued from what i've seen thus far. i'll check ayers...thanks steve - i may be just gettin old : ) dean
  10. anyone know of source or substitution for 16210-kj2-000 carb insulator (intake) for my 86 TLR 200? also, is it just me or are the bars too low for my 5'11" 31" inseam body? i have 6" Renthals & feel too bent over - have i just been away from trials too long? my last ride was a 301 FANTIC over ten years ago. i seemed so much more erect - no pun intended : ) dean in tennessee, usa
