Yes it is still avalibale. You can sent me a PM.Cheers:Mike

  2. Well we had this back in the day's called"Badge Engeneering".A Laverda was a American Eagle,a Royal Enfield was a Indian,a Hercules was a Piror,Sachs or JB,a Horex was a Zündapp,a SIS Sachs was Real,a Puch was a Riverside, just a few to Name.Just put other Stickers on the bike and it got a new Name.

  3. I don't use ATF in my Yam, I tried it once and wasn't happy with the clutch action. I use a manual transmission fluid - MTF94,sold by Landrover. (I run a Landrover garage) I think it is made for them by Texaco, and there are other brands to the same spec. Works well and is cheaper than motorcycle specific trans oil.

    Me too :agreed:

  4. Sometimes smal countrys used the bikes for their Police or army. The Army of Swaziland orderd in the late 70's early 80's a bunch of 125 Ducati Six Days Models. As i was looking for parts a few years ago my mate Bruce from Johannisburg said that parts for this Ducati are no Problem. It was like haven, new Barrels, pistons, ignitons, snail cams etc.

  5. Hamish,

i absolutly agree. We have this in the Moment in the Hercules Owners Forum. There is a jung lad restoring a early 70's Hercules. Then it came to the day do work on the wheels, all the wise guy's said to him how to do it.So he sandblasted and polished the hubs.orders new rims and spokes(all online)then he tryed to respoke the wheels, totaly Desaster, wrong spokes, too Long, etc.next se,same, next same.At that time he spent a fortune on spokes. Then i sent him a pm and told him that i know a guy in our area who can do the Job with labour and new stainless steal spoke for 75 Euro ish per wheel. Before he retiered he had his own buisness,so he knows what to do.Anyway the Young lad said to me,oh that is expencive.I said,Young man you spent nearly the tripple Money on wrong spokes and you have no wheels.I could not understand this.

Not shure, but could be Suzuki(Beamish)or Yamaha DT.If you look inside the Brackeplate you will find numbers and a sign of the brand/make.

  7. Hi Guys,

if you going to the south a visit in Brooklands(close to the A3) is very interesting and also a little 3 wheeler museum in Rolverton(Kent).Southhampton Harbour with all the antique dockyards and ships is also worth a visit. There is a lot to see,in this area.

  8.

Just got my 1964 Hercules K 50 Sprint ready,it stood for lightyears in the shed. The last weeks i worked on her and tryed to put all legal pre 65 components on the bike.I do not restored it,because it was too good.Only changed the non legal components. It is very light, rides well, revs well, stears well.Technical data:1964 Hercules K 50 Sprint,49,9 ccm,5,3 BHP,5 speed.I thinking to ride it in the 2017 Scottish pre 65(what do you think is she legal)if i get permission to ride.Comments welcome,so waiting for it.post-8037-0-42926200-1452953316_thumb.jpgpost-8037-0-37771900-1452953406_thumb.jpgpost-8037-0-01398200-1452953471_thumb.jpg

  9. Maxx,

if you want to do the Trial on easter,

here is the website of the club:

    http://www.rlmoa.be/

For 2016 you can only enter via the regs on the website. The regs will be out round 10th of January(ish)be quick, because there will be a limited entery. We already booked our accomodation in November.

If you need more info's for the Trial the week before Bilstain let me know and drop me a note via PM.There is a good and cheap little hotel(farm holidays)nearby. If you are at Telford show we can speak about that.We have a stand in Hall 2(B37)

    Cheers:Mike

  10. Maxx,

yes the event is open for pre 65 and Twinshocks. You can turn on at the day and sign on before the start.Very laid back the event. You can book rooms on the ground or do camping. In the villages nearby there are a few hotels.Jet wash, toilets, showers and a restaurant and a bar is in the paddock. So everything is there.

The website you found is Michels website and you will find mostly all dates for the classictrials in europe there and the results and pics.

If you have any more questions let me know.

    Cheers:Mike
