  1. Thanks! I searched for "hook wrench", "shock spanner", and "shock wrench" and came up with a number of sources.
  2. Hmmmm. The rings are pretty tight! I tried the hammer and punch method and it looked like it was going to chew up the rings (they're aluminum). I have the shock on the bench now and would prefer to use the correct tools if I can find them.
  3. I've got a TXT 280 and would like to experiment with the rear shock preload. Have been unable to find the wrenches necessary to adjust the preload rings. Can anyone point me toward a source in the US?

  5. Sheesh, I recruited two neighbors with cable to tape it for me, and later found out that some totally unrelated program was substituted. Now their suspicions that I'm a lunatic are confirmed.
