    Service manual?

Hi Primodious, Any chance I could be cheeky too & ask for a copy for my 2017 ice hell 300? kyminuk@hotmail.com Much appreciated, thank you 👍🏻
  2. Hi I don't know much but a short while ago my gas gas clutch started to slip so I purchased a new clutch pack from gas gas uk & was shocked to see that the metal plates inbetween the friction plates were slightly wider than the ones already installed so presuming it was ok I installed the new pack, It then had the opposite effect of it then draggin & not disengaging, which is the same problem my Mate had with his sons 200pro so I stripped apart again & put in 1 new wider plate & 1 old thin plate, it was perfect so my mate did the same & that is now ok too, not sure if we have got similar seal problems but mine hasn't altered since doing it after goin out a few times so I'm happy it's fine
  3. Excellent thanks for the advice guys
  4. Hi Ben, just noticed your comment on the fly wheel weight, does it make much difference? Got a 300 pro, love the power but sometimes it's just a little too snappy at low revs in mud and spins up bit too easy and was wondering if the weight will soften it without loosing too much power, as i rode a 280 other day that was unbelievably smooth at bottom end... Thanks
  5. Excellent, Thanks for the advice & post mortom results, i shall get one ordered in ready
  6. Thanks PeterB, I have priced them up & the DPK kit seems to be the best option & is recommended by gas gas but i don't know of their quality & if they will last as long but they are half price... Thanks again
  7. Excellent thanks, it will be interesting to find out... Can't get over it myself, mine was exactly the same fine 1 minute then completely gone the next, wouldn't pull in any gear no matter how gentle i was, let it stand for an hour then it was perfectly fine again popping the front wheel in top gear at low speed mine is an 04 so may have had a hard previous owner/s... Thanks again
  8. Hi jimbo Did you solve your slipping clutch problem as my 300 pro is now slipping quite badly when warm, perfectly fine when its cold tho & no drag whatsoever, very strange.....
  9. Hi, thanks for replying and giving me some insight, i haven't actually entered a trial for some years now but i have alot of land i can ride on and enjoy playing around with friends on a sunday, climbing steep banks, small rock faces and making our own sections up etc, i also have to go on the highway between few hundred yards and a mile to get to various fields & moors i use so was wanting a road legal bike that is why i fancied something with a bit more power, ie 270/280. I'm no expert rider by any means but i rode a '06 beta 250 and loved it but was wondering if that extra 20cc makes alot of difference as i don't know anyone with a 270 to test ride. I also enjoyed the gas gas 280 pro i rode but i'm unsure of the build quality as they are very light but i am only a few miles away from GAS GAS UK so getting parts should be relatively easy in comparison to mail order... Thanks
  10. Hello all i am new to this and i'm after some honest opinions of which bike to go for next, i have owned a Montesa 315r for a few years now and find it very good in its reliability & build quality but it is a little too heavy for me to hop around, i am looking to update it now & can't make my mind up on whether to go for a Beta 270 or Gas Gas 280 or 300? I have heard some horror stories of the Gas gas Pro's but thought i'd put it to the real guys who actually use them, any help will be very much appreciated as i don't want to buy a bike which i may regret in months to come. Thanks...
