September 22, 200619 yr I have had my 280 Gasgas for 2 months now and it has just broke the handlebar base clamp (broke through pivot point) apparently this is a regular problem with these up and over type clamps for the fat bars without cross piece. So Edited September 23, 200619 yr by joandemma
September 22, 200619 yr my clamps broke also (without overtightening) and even though out of warranty was supplied with some renthal fat bar clamps make of that what you will (I think it shows there has been problems with some bikes)
September 22, 200619 yr The renthal clamps are the conventional ones aren't they? With top and bottom seperated? I was told gasgas would only supply the gasgas made hinged type on warranty! Your lucky mate!
September 22, 200619 yr yes I thought I did well also I think the renthal ones are a much better clamp, maybe I got them because I had several problems with the bike (hence the beta this year)
