How To Fit A New Brake Lever....i Am Very Stuck!

i bought a new front brake lever...came to fit it and when the hose is tightened up the lever is upside down.....if i twwist it round it twists the hosing....does anybody know how to fit the cable to the lever correctly???

So when you say lever you mean the whole assembley, as in the resi?

I am guessing you are changing the front master, and you are leaving the hose attached to the caliper?

disconnect the hose from the caliper, screw it into the master, then reinstal the banjo on the caliper. Then Bleed.

Sorry for stating the obvious, but you did fit new washers?

sorry i havnt replied..i havnt had the internet for a few days. i have bought a new master cylinder and i havnt bought new washers....i am going to buy a new washer though to see if that works. I have tried all the other ways including screwing the hose into the master cylinder and then tightening the banjo in but the hose still twists....although i will get a washer and report back.
