January 22, 200719 yr Got out for my second Trials ride ever on my 2004 GG300 Pro today. Even after fitting a "Slow" throttle I wasn't able to relax. I tried a 2006 GG200 in the parking lot, and imediately felt comfortable. Considering how much better I felt I'm thinking of getting it, but I don't know if it'll haul my fat A**. Thoughts? January 22, 200719 yr No problem, the 200 is a good bike. As a beginer it will probably help you to both; enjoy trials more until you gain experience and progress faster to the stage where you might actually benfit from a 300. Here is an old picture of my lads 2001 Gas Gas 200 in action. It's being ridden by one of my expert mates, just to show us how to go over a log. (I still couldn't do it, by the way.)
January 22, 200719 yr the 200 will do you fine but if you must have a bigger bike how about a scorpa sy250. sorfter power delivery than most of the other stuff but plenty torquey enough
January 22, 200719 yr Considering how much better I felt I'm thinking of getting it, but I don't know if it'll haul my fat A**.Thoughts? Watch this space! I've just bought a 200 and I'm nearer 140lb. I'll let you know how it goes . . . I'm 6'6" tall, and it looks like a minimoto with me on it, but I reckon with legs as long as mine, one good dab should get me a long way
January 22, 200719 yr Author Thanks for the help everyone. From what I'm hearing, I think I'll try and get the 200. In case you're wondering why I got the 300 as my 1st bike - it was a really good deal and I knew that if it was too much, I could get my money back out.
January 22, 200719 yr Hi floored read "Whats wrong with the 200" in General Trials Talk. Forum. there lots of info from many riders
