February 12, 200719 yr Can't believe no one has commented on the ride of Alexz Wigg yesterday. Beating all bar James Dabill, not bad for a 125.
February 12, 200719 yr I'm not so sure he rode the 125. I thought I read somewhere that he'll only use the 125 in the Junior World Championship. Anyway, what a nice ride it was from the score. Here.
February 12, 200719 yr Author Unless Dabster had another bike hidden in his van & Wiggy fettled up his 125 after practicing on Saturday for a laugh, I can 100% guarantee he was on a 125. Edited February 12, 200719 yr by PERCE
February 12, 200719 yr Whew, spear me why don't you guys. I didn't say, for sure, I was just going from a press release posted on which bikes he would ride. Was this a on-road or off-road event? Still, I'm not surprised either way on a 125 or 300, the kid is absolutely amazing.
February 12, 200719 yr Yes saw him on it yesterday it was the 125 not sure how he rode it on the road though as i thought he was not old enough yet.
February 12, 200719 yr Yes I did wash a very dirty 125 this morning whilst Alexz was out running his usual 40 minute loop. Alexz was 17 on 11-11 06 and passed his full motorcycle test last Wednesday (luckily a day before the snow came ) with Big Dave from Guildford. Funnily enough one of his marked down minor errors was for balance!! Bike used was 06 125 Gas Gas pro racing now with black frame, the machine used for all major competitions last year and still on all original engine components except for one set of piston rings. Going up to Buxton to pick up our new bike tomorrow.
February 13, 200719 yr It was a great ride by Alexz and just goes to show what you can do on a 125 in the right hands, looking forward to seeing him in the world junior rounds, it would be nice to see Alexz and Michael Brown No1 and No2 at the end of the year, which order remains to be seen it will be interesting.
