Not sure what part you are talking about, but alot of honda motors require a 4 prong socket tool to remove the oil slinger and clutch. They are quite cheap and worth having in your tool box. Most motorcycle dealers should be able to get you one if they don't already have them in stock.

The part next to the clutch is a centrifugal oil filter. the tool can be easily made from either an odd socket or a piece of pipe.

The simplest solution is to use a pin punch or even a centre punch on the nut.

cheers guys....ive managed to book the engine in with a local mechanic....im too impatient havent ridden it for 13 years so i just wanna get it running and get on it he's only charging twenty pound to fit the spline and rebuild the engine....... should be interesting to get on it. Im going to be the MOST shocking rider on the forum :icon_salut: :-) everyone watch out for a tl125 and a rider always on the floor in the midlands...cos that will be me! thanks for all your help
