Fuel Ratio

Ratio should be 50:1 or 60:1.

Getting the carburation correct for your riding style is the most important thing. (If you ride round on low revs a lot you probably need to weaken the carb. If you use lots of revs you may need to ritchen it up. Also altitude makes a massive difference)

Remember the oil is there to lubricate the engine.

If the bike doesn't run crisp and clean and there seems to be oily deposits in the exhaust it is not the amount of oil you've put in thats the problem it's that you running the bike too rich

"80:1 with synthetic oil and high test pump gas" is the best for these bikes......Remember you can't clean out a Shreco exhust box. So you must keep the gunk levels as low as possible.

Thanks copemech,

I just have to keep putting these messages out there. So 2nd hand buyers end up with better bikes all round.

We also have to keep in mind that we're riding a hightech engines.....and not a flipping lawn mower :thumbup:
