Wheel Bearings

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Just fitted new tyres - and when putting the rear wheel back on i noticed that even with the bolts tight, if you grap the tyre and push/pull you get a minute amount of "play" - you can see that its around where those two metal rings that fit between the frame and the wheel itself.

Is this normal or have i got a bearing on its way out? I assume you can get them fixed or is it a new wheel?

Cheers

Jza

sounds like a bit of play in the bearing, nothing serious just knock the bearing out from the opposite side with a punch.

You can get bearings from and local bearing stockist.. probably 6004 bearings
