Front Sprocket..loose?

Featured Replies

Hi, Just removed my chain and found the front sprocket to be "Loose" on its shaft, is there supposed to be play, if so what is reasonable on am old 2003..not used to it having any play?? cheers Mark should I panic or just put the chain back on and ride it???

I don't know if it's typical for a Montesa but I know most of the modern bikes I've worked on seem to have looser front sprockets then the old Bultacos.
