I was just wondering if anybody knows who holds the trials just off the M6 near junction 13 and how often? I was driving past a couple of weeks ago and noticed a trial being held on the steep bank by the river. Looked like a nice venue.

I know the bit you mean, but I am only ever up that way in the week. You can see it has been used by bikes, but obviously being in the week I have never seen anyone on it. I always drive by and think about the potential sections. Some of the exposed roots look quite knarly. There are a few good bits on the left hand side as you head north up the M6.

the area is dunston near penkridge?

i raced there a few years back at a pre65 mx event.

The venue is used by Acorns AMCA trials club and also the AMCA affiliated BMCA trials (Pre65) club

Not much to go at when it's dry but good in the wet as very slippery. Probably under water right now........
