hi there i owned a seeley 200 back in the 80's and as far as i was aware it was a bored out xl185 engine with a competition camshaft they probably just took a stock engine and worked it . and on the other hand i could be totaly wrong i know some thing it was one of my biggest miskake's getting rid of it , any way that's another story. bye .

Did the engine and frame numbers match on a Seeley?

No they did not match. As far as I know, the Honda motors were supplied by Honda RSC (Racing Service Centre, the fore-runner of HRC).

Engine numbers did not match frame numbers at all as the Seeleys were SHT-XXXX numbered and motors were RS200TEXXXX
