A chap i khow has just made me a Honda Seeley alloy fuel tank,his next job for me is to do me an alloy tank & slim seat for my 240.If its the bizz {it should }he will do some more.

Just got me a new project to build.Its a xl185 motor ,bore & stroke are 70x56.4.It has an extrenal oil feed to the cam.Barrel is large finned and shortend slightly to match the stroke.The crank has the same steel bands around the crank as per seeley rs200 ,as does the alternater flywheel.Six speed box.I think the piston is tlr rtl as its kr9 hf1.Will it be any good or will it spin up too quick with the shorter stroke.Frame is Seeley with some sort of alloy seat tank unit.Also disc brake front wheel.Does any one know of any history on the engine or bike.

Anybody know of or have a piston for my 240 fantic,size needs to be d,e,or f to do any good .I;ve tried the Fantic shops in Gb ,had no joy.

Do you use the honda steel plates with the barnett clutch plates. I purchashed some barnett plates off Ebay USA but not got round to fitting them yet to my seeley.I hope they are as good as you say.

seeley engine is stamped as rs200te ,check your head stock for sht this the start of seely frame number.

The seeley pegs, i used a pair of brackets that i purchased off trials cast.They cost

Piston part mumber 13101-883-003 ,13010-yao-004 rings.This is 67mm piston that will need the skirt machined to miss the flywheel.

The rs 200 has a 66mm piston ,the tlr uses a 65.5mm, I;ve taken mine out to 67mm & used a honda generator piston.I have part numbers if you need them.

I:M about to remove the swingarm on my seeley to change the swingarm bushes.Does any one know which ones fit.XL185-tlr200 etc,please let me know.

I;m about to pull the lads bike down to fit new main bearings.Does any one know the bearing numbers & and recomendations on these,and the job its self.Also any seel numbers.
