Hi there - I'm looking for a Transit Connect to replace my Berlingo. Does anyone know if the SWB version would take two bikes, if not what about the LWB?

swb hi roof is the tool you want

i have that and a trafic

the trannie is just as high as the trafic and will take two bikes

swb low roof connect will fit two bikes in no problem. Also if you can go for the tdci version (90hp).

As said above the swb does take 2 bikes easy on the diag, also loads of room to get your kit in,

if i had a choice at getting one, ( mine is a works van) i would go for the one witht the side door,

Hi everyone, I'm looking for something that will fit in my garage, i've tried a Hi top connect but it's just a tiny bit too tall to fit through the garage door - the short wheel base Connect will fit just fine

As you can see [from pulling up this old thread] i've done a search, but i've read a 100 different answers saying that you can and can not fit two bikes [250 scorpa/270 Beta in my case] in a standrad low roof ford connect.

So can someone please settle it once and for all and post a picture up of a SWB Connect with two bikes fitted in the back.

I've had both high and low roof versions, 2 bikes will fit in both, the vans are the same width which is the limiting factor, but the high roof makes it easier to do. Having owned many vans over the years I can comfortably rate the Connects as the worst I have ever had the
