315r Clutch Adjust ?

Featured Replies

Just rode my 315r for the first time yesterday, bike is spot on. Main problem when starting was as soon as I changed from Neutral to First the bike started pulling away even when clutch lever pulled in fully. Took a bit of a nack to hang on and get going. So obviousley something not right or is it ?

did it free off or not?

if so its just the regular montesa clutch drag

the only way to combat it is to change the gear oil to elf or get a new clutch

max

if been stood for a while the plates will be sticky, get going and get into about 4th or something, pull clutch right in, get over the front wheel and give her a handfull, should loosen em up, theres a few topics here about it, in technical section too, do a search
