June 22, 200818 yr Can anyone recommend what fuel to use? Some say super unleaded, others say use it now and then. I currently use standard unleaded, but happy to change to super unleaded. Also is there any advantage with using an Iridium spark plug, or keeping the standard plug? Beta 270 2006 Thanks.
June 22, 200818 yr Hi - I have tried both fuels and can't tell any difference to be honest - so I go for regular based on cost. I also have an Iridium plug and that is working OK, but then again so was the std. one, so no real difference to note either - although the Iridium plugs have a very hard tip, so should maintain gap and therefore performance for much longer. I got my Iridium plug for about a fiver, so why not?
June 22, 200818 yr BPR5ES plug, best super unleaded you can get, shell is good, mix with Castrol TTS 70ml per 5 litres, if you can get AvGas mix 50/50 with superunleaded, Betas love good fuel
