Somewhere To Ride?

Featured Replies

Hiya, i'm not new to trials but was thinking if there was anywhere different to practice other than in scarborough, anywhere about an hour away from york? I ride in a pretty wide area - Scarborough, Cowm quarry and Pickering, but wanted to know if they were any other places about an hour away from york to ride? If anyones from nearby feel free to get in touch.....thanks in advance!

Guisborough Club have Slape Wath, which is just outside of Guisborough and open at weekends.

BUMPY is available and can be good especially if you want a bit of company!! I have heard a rumour that they may be getting a much bigger area if things go right.

Hi joe,

Ask someone from the Eboracum club in York, used to be Colin Cass years back but don't know if he is still going. There was a good quarry to ride in just north of York, used in the Colonial trial but you'd need to ask about that. A bit farther north there was a few properties around Rosedale Abbey.

Bye, PeterB.

Colin Cass is still around but has nothing to do with Eboracum Club hes enjoying old age and we have no land where practicing is allowed Rosedale area is strictly taboo.
