October 28, 200817 yr looking at getting the ty 125 f (long ride) as my first bike want it to do some local comps on and to do a bit of green laning as well how do people rate them for this any problems?? also does the cable clutch cause any problems, i've heard that it can be a bit of bugger for modulation, this true or just a bit of clutch snobery! lol cheers,
October 28, 200817 yr Clutch is not a problem as such, up take could be more progresive though. There's a mod to radius the actuating cam if it really upsets you, which can make it a little better. Stock tank holds enough for a good ride too, seems really frugal.
October 28, 200817 yr There is a 3 way adjustable clutch lever you can buy that enables you to play about with adjustment, or if you fit an arm from a 08 ttr they say it is an improvement. Easier to fit the lever though. Available from Trial and trail.
October 29, 200817 yr Author well i'm not that experienced so i guess i wouldn't know any different with the clutch if i did get one, and it would seem there are a few things i could try if i dont get on with it thanks for the info fellas
