Few Things... Need Help Again

Featured Replies

Right.. as im getting more into my riding im wanting a bit more out of my 125...

What is the best things I could to get some more power?

Thinking of an S3 frontpipe? anybody using these on a stock 125, how much difference and what ways?

Also, what ways do the long and short pipes differ... apart from length :guinness:

Worth getting the insert?

Keihin carb. What differences power wise would this make? Heard tales of people having to machine the reed block for it too fit... these true?

For the setup including correct jets how much would this cost, roughly!?

Any other thoughts that may help?

Cheers in advance.

Many Regards,

Jamie

Doubt any of it would be worth the expense and trouble really. Paxau does not use the Kiehin last I checked.

Seems many of the lads would use the 46 or 48T rear gear to make 3rd gear more usable.

Have you freshened it up with a new piston ring?

Basically, all the exotic stuff will not win you a trial, you need to learn to maximize what you have and the 125's just require better teknique! :guinness:

Make sure the exhaust system is clean! and practice. Its the best performance modification for any bike (says me who could do with about 10 years solid practice...)

Cheers,

Stork
