December 20, 200817 yr I need a piston for my MAR. Has anybody bought one recently? Word is they seem to be rare as hens teeth. Is that true
December 20, 200817 yr No its not true. I just bought a piston kit for my 250 MAR and was offered a choice of two brands by Keith Lynas in the US.
December 20, 200817 yr OTF, Try Alex Snoop in NY State USA (Ossa World website) email asnoop13@optonline.net I have obtained MAR gearbox part from him recently - good to deal with, if he does not have a part on stock, I think he would know who is likely to have it. Sammy Miller also used to stock o/s MAR pistons at one time. Hope this helps Brian H
December 21, 200817 yr Aa stated above, availability in the States no problem, you can still get Tarabusi originals or Wiseco replacements from Keith Lynas who trades as Ossa Planet. One of the specialists, Doug Elke, has Wisecos in his ebay shop dougelke ebay Not so easily available here, Miller used to stock patterns for 250 but not sure what if anything they have leftt. Steve Sell who trades as Marlimar has some pistons but maybe only 350. Haven't got a contact for him although someone on here might, but he will be at Telford I'd guess.

At least if all else fails then i know where i can get one. Looks like i may be sorted though. After todays trial droped in at a friends house who used to ride Ossa's , still does on occaision and i'd give me right arm for his current one, and after a rummage we might have a good second hand piston sorted. He just has to sort some rings out to suit To be honest dont know why i didnt think of poping round sooner must be this man flu cant seem to think straight. Appreciate all the advice though guys and it may help somebody else in the same predicament
